Volunteer Work Day @ Forest Hill Park

Sat Mar 23 10:00AM

We will pull/cut invasive exotic (non-native) plants, much of it English ivy. These vining plants are removed and gathered from the ground and from tree trunks. Why? Invasive plants outcompete native plants, and native plants provide food, protection, and places to reproduce and live for native birds, insects, and mammals.

What to Bring: Work gloves and hand clippers if you have them. No open-toed footwear due to possibility of poison ivy.
