City proposing to change 3 voting locations, feedback wanted

Richmond residents invited and encouraged to review and provide public comment on proposed changes/updates to three Richmond Polling (Voting) Precinct Places/Locations (603, 909, and 910)
Locations to be used for upcoming Virginia General and Special Election, being held Tuesday, November 5, 2024
Richmond, Virginia – On Monday, April 22, 2024, two proposed ordinances (Ord. No. 2024-126 and Ord. No. 2024-127) were introduced during the Richmond City Council Formal Meeting that would change three current Richmond Polling (Voting) Precinct Places/Locations, 603, 909, and 910.
One proposed change is in the Richmond Gateway 6th Voter District and two are in the Richmond South Central 9th Voter District, as follows:

1301 Whitehead RoadIn considering the proposed updates to the Richmond Polling (Voting) Precinct Places/Locations, Richmond City Council invites and encourages Richmond residents to review the proposed new locations and, beginning today, email any public comment they may have regarding, to cityclerksoffice@rva.gov.
In-person Public Comment on the proposed updates will take place during the Richmond City Council Governmental Operations Standing Committee Meeting on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 1:00-2:30 p.m. The proposed updates are anticipatorily on schedule for more in-person Public Comment and final decision to be held during the Richmond City Council Formal Meeting, on June 10, 2024; 6:00-8:00 p.m. Interested persons may also present their views by teleconference/videoconference via Microsoft Teams. To take advantage of this option, individuals must do so prior to 10:00 a.m. on the meeting date, by calling the Office of the City Clerk at 804.646.7955 and selecting option 3, to register.

Surprised the city would hold public voting in a homophobic church. Not exactly a great message to send to residents.
