School Board interviews to fill vacant seat bumped to next week

Originally scheduled for Monday’s School Board meeting, the interviews to fill the vacant 4th District School Board seat have been moved to a special meeting Tuesday, May 14 at 6PM at City Hall School Board Chambers on the 17th floor. This meeting will also be streamed live on RPS YouTube.
The seat has been vacant since early April when two-term representative Jonathan Young resigned from the position after a harassment complaint in which he was ultimately cleared but which prompted the School Board to revise their policies.
