Come out tonight for National Night Out
Communities across the city will celebrate National Night Out this evening. The annual event “brings police and neighbors together in support of crime prevention during an evening full of fun for all ages.”
“When neighbors get together at these events they get to know us and one another,” says RPD Community Care unit Captain Dan Minton. “The relationships that form can be a powerful tool in fighting crime because neighbors become motivated to know and help each other. It’s also best to get to know your precinct officers in a fun atmosphere. This annual event is a great time to connect!”
