Speed cameras coming next week to 9 more schools

Police Chief Rick Edwards said last month that new speed cameras were scheduled for Boushall Middle School, Swansboro Elementary School, and MLK Middle School, with applications pending for the cameras for River City MS, Huguenot HS, Westover Hill ES, Frances W. McClenney ES, and Mary Mumford ES. A report on WRIC yesterday says that all nine schools will get the speed cameras starting next week.

The plan is eventually have cameras at 13 schools, including Richmond High School for the Arts and Blackwell Elementary.
