Bring out your retired furniture, mattresses, tires, appliances. etc

The Department of Public Works annual Neighborhood Clean-Up Program returns to the area this month.

The program offers residents free curbside bulk and brush pickup. Residents should place items out Friday evening before the clean-up; DPW crews will collect items wherever trash is normally placed for collection. Acceptable items include furniture, mattresses, tires (four per household), appliances and brush that has been cut into four-foot lengths and bundled. Electronics, construction debris, hazardous waste items and broken glass will NOT be collected.

Zone 10 – Broad Rock/Brookbury – September 21
Zone 11 – Worthington Farms – September 28
Zone 12 – Westover Gardens – October 5
Zone 13 – Stratford Hills/Willow Oaks – October 19
Zone 15 – Stony Point – November 2
