All districts Council District candidates forum this Wednesday

The League of Women Voters of the Richmond Metro Area (LWV-RMA) and the Richmond Times-Dispatch are hosting an all districts Council District candidates forum on Wednesday, October 9 from 6-8:30PM at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture. The forum will be streamed by the RTD.
On this side of the river there are contested City Council contests in the 6th, 8th, and 9th Districts.

I just saw someone post on FB an invoice from a summer cconcert Peoples Evolution Festival in the 9th District for $174,000 🤔 Did anyone in the 9th attend? Expensive for such a small event that didn’t directly bebefit the 9th district.
