Land clearing under way at site of 44th Street project

Land is being cleared towards construction of the 700 West 44 apartment community at 700 West 44th Street.

The development will have 1-3 bedroom units, a fitness center, a community clubhouse, and a pool on six three-story buildings on the 6.6 acre parcel. The project will have 108 units at 51-80% of the area median income and 36 units at 50% AMI and below.
