The 43 mile Fall Line Trail will connect Ashland to Petersburg, and will run through Hanover, Henrico, Richmond, Chesterfield, and Colonial Heights. For Southside, the Fall Line will parallel Commerce Road and Bellemeade Road and then follow Richmond Highway into Chesterfield County. This stretch will bring access to Bellemeade Community Center, connect to Goode’s Creek and the future Broad Rock Creek Park, meet up with the James River Branch Line, and provide a river connection for Oak Grove Community.
The Department of Public Works (Office of Equitable Transit & Mobility) and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities are hosting a discussion on Wednesday, April 9, from 5-7PM to evaluates alignment alternatives for the Fall Line Trail.
