This misspelled school zone sign on Jahnke popped up recently on the local Reddit.

I had to put eyes on it in person to see if it was real – and it’s definitely there. A close look shows that the 2nd “C” was once an “O” – but how long has it been like this? Google street view shows it spelled correctly in 2009.

Google satellite and Bing Street View, both from 2024, show the word is mostly obliterated. The “C” looks like delamination. Was it repainted?
