Planning to look at Blackwell Park, new homeless shelter, Forest Hill development

The Planning Commission will take up 3 area projects at their February 20 meeting:
- UDC 2024-07 CONCEPT Plan review for redesigned Blackwell Park located at 1400 Maury Avenue.
- ORD. 2024-006 To declare a public necessity for and to authorize the acquisition of the parcel of real property owned by Grove Avenue Partners LLC and located at 10 Belt Boulevard in the city of Richmond for the purpose of providing community services related to homelessness and housing alternatives. (8th District)
- ORD. 2024-035 To authorize the special use of the property known as 6422 Forest Hill Avenue for the purpose of ten single-family detached dwellings fronting on a private street, upon certain terms and conditions. (4th District)
