STARTING TODAY – the Bike Walk Academy is accepting applications for the 2024 session! Will you join our advocacy leadership program to make a difference in your community? With more momentum behind paved trails than ever, now is the time to add specialized advocacy tools to your skillset as you champion bike and pedestrian infrastructure in your area.

What is the Bike Walk Academy, you ask?

The Academy is a five-week, no-cost program that empowers community members like you to grow into strong grassroots leaders. We teach public narrative, organizing, and tactics while introducing you to elected and staff leaders in our region to make this work more effective and fun. 200 Academy graduates, who we call Champions, are the foundation for every bike/ped success in our region in the last ten years.
