Forest Hill Ave & Roanoke Street CLOSED this Wednesday and Thursday (UPDATED)

Haven’t seen anything official but we’ve heard from a reliable source that this is being pushed back a day:

The painting project at Roanoke and Forest Hill is being delayed a day so it will start on Wednesday. It was pointed out to DPW that Tuesday was a primary day and shutting down FH Ave would prevent people from voting

WHEN: Tuesday, March 5 to Wednesday, March 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The intersection of Forest Hill Avenue and Roanoke Street

BACKGROUND: As part of the traffic signal upgrade project, the contractor will be installing pavement markings at the intersection listed above. There will be no traffic permitted through the intersection, vehicles must follow the detour.

DETOUR:

Eastbound Forest Hill Avenue Traffic – follow detour signs southbound beginning at Westover Hills Boulevard, eastbound on Midlothian Turnpike, and northbound on Dundee Avenue until you arrive back to Forest Hill Avenue at Dundee Avenue.

Westbound Forest Hill Avenue Traffic – follow detour signs southbound beginning at Dundee Avenue, westbound on Midlothian Turnpike, and northbound Westover Hills Boulevard until you arrive back to Forest Hill Avenue at Westover Hills Boulevard.

Northbound West Roanoke Street Traffic – Traffic will not be permitted North of Dunston Avenue, follow Eastbound/Westbound Forest Hill Avenue detour signs.
