One of the things we’re exploring here at South Richmond News is where in the area is being covered by ourselves and other media. Our Story Map makes this pretty clear.

In the few months that we’ve been doing this, one casual observation is that the main stream media only reports on the area south of Midlothian Turnpike if there is a crime. We’re not much better but we’re working on it.
