RICHMOND is the most important tobacco manufacturing centre in the United States. Among the many large factories located here, the imposing structure on the Petersburg Pike, home of the famous MODEL tobacco, is considered by many to be the most beautiful manufacturing building in America, and one of the real attractions of the City of Richmond.
