Some excitement on Forest Hill Avenue

A mix of city and state police in marked and unmarked cars converged on a car in the M&M CONVENIENCE-TOBACCO parking lot on the 3400 block of Forest Hill Avenue yesterday just before 10:30AM.
A spokesperson for the Virginia State Police would only say that the action was a “Richmond Police Departments case that we assisted with”; the City of Richmond Police department has not yet responded to our request for more information.
WRIC is reporting that “at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, officers were investigating a robbery that resulted in one person being apprehended in the 3400 block of Forest Hill Avenue”, which likely the same incident.
