Is RVA Bike Share dead?

I found the only @RVABikeShare bike in Southside. In total Richmond’s bikeshare system has just 42 bikes left. In 2018, people rode RVA Bikeshare 22,456 times. In 2021, it logged just 11,356 rides. This critical transportation service is being left for dead by city leaders.
What’s wrong with having your own bicycle?
There’s also one at Broad Rock Library in southside, but the bikes have all been gone for weeks.
