Westover Hills bike lanes project to start July 29
There will be road closures starting July 29 for the Westover Hills bike lanes project.

BACKGROUND: There will be lane closures in the aforementioned areas to replace striping, install signs and flexible delineator posts. In some instances, flaggers will be used.
These *#$& bike lanes that nobody uses are going 2 make getting around in this city impossible! Mark my words: in 20 yrs, they’ll give us back our through lanes but only after 20 yrs of traffic jams & illegal parking.
I ride Westover Hills to the bridge most days, back and forth to work. I’ve never seen the need for 2 lanes of vehicular traffic there. What I do see a lot of are people driving their cars way too fast coming off of the bridge.
I applaud this effort to provide cycling infrastructure and traffic calming. This will benefit everyone.
