Ra-Twoine Fields and Manchester Manifest awarded 2024 Community Empowerment Award

Ra-Twoine Fields and Manchester Manifest were awarded the 2024 Community Empowerment Award by the Virginia Diverse Chamber of Commerce at a ceremony on August 3rd.

They were recognized for their “significant impact in the local community through … dedication to empowering individuals, entrepreneurs and fostering positive change”:

Since 2016, Manchester Manifest has been the organizing force behind the monthly Southside First Fridays on Hull Street. The event features live music, live art, food trucks, local vendors, mutual aid, and local businesses. The multi-talented Ra-Twoine Fields is the owner of Holistic Agency and Southside Contemporary Art Gallery, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
