New speed cameras are on for real starting October 1

The grace period for speeding violations at the newest Safety Camera locations ends October 1 – violations at these locations on or after October 1 will result in a citation.

While there are still a few “soft warning” days left, apparently incorrect citations were issued by program vendor instead of warnings during this grace period. Look for a letter if you were issued a violation instead of a warning at any of the new camera locations and note that the violations have been voided and no payment is required. If you’ve paid an erroneous fine a refund will be issued.
