Candidate still sparring after election

Former candidate for the 8th District School Board seat PH “Cruz” Sherman today issued a press release refuting allegations made by eventual winner E.J. “Emmett Jay” Jafari during the campaign.

Open about his wayward youth and the lessons that it taught him, Cruz has taken issue with Jafari’s characterization that he has “a background of sentences and incarcerations for everything from attempted murder to possessions of illegal avoidance devices”.

The somewhat-off-of-the-radar race got heated in mid-October when Jafari sought to have Sherman removed the ballot less than 3 weeks before the the election on a technicality.
