Car crash blocks Semmes Avenue in both directions

Active Calls is reporting a crash with a person trapped near 27th and Semmes at 5:07PM, and @room804_ has video of showing at least 2 wrecked vehicles (and references a 3rd) and the arrival of the fire department.

“We just walked by there, it’s pretty awful,” one neighbor says. “Semmes is blocked off in both directions, traffic is all messed up. Both cars I could see were flipped with a wheel well at least 100 yards away. […] A tree in the median got wiped out. There’s glass and debris everywhere. It looks like the impact happened at least a block before the cars stopped.”
