At Huguenot High, where 40% of the student population is Hispanic or Latino, instructional learning looks different than most. And in recent years, following drastic declines in performance as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the division has made significant shifts to how it teaches English-learning students.

School officials say they are seeing results.
