Work underway towards 700 West 44 apartment community

The behind-the-scenes work is underway towards construction of the 700 West 44 apartment community at 700 West 44th Street. A Richmond Stormwater Management Permit was issued in December, following the Water/Sewer (Commercial) Permit in November. Earlier timetables had the project already completed by now.
The development will have 1-3 bedroom units, a fitness center, a community clubhouse, and a pool on six three-story buildings on the 6.6 acre parcel. The project will have 108 units at 51-80% of the area median income and 36 units at 50% AMI and below.
