Police identify Wythemar Street stabbing victim

Richmond Police detectives have identified the victim in the homicide that occurred last week on Wythemar Street.

At approximately 12:06 p.m., Monday, December 23, officers were called to the 100 block of Wythemar Street for the report of a person stabbed. Officers arrived and found an adult male, Sean Scott, 26, of Richmond down and injured with apparent stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
