The 2025 Richmond People’s Movement Assembly is tomorrow, Saturday, January 18, from noon to 6PM at Studio Two Three.

From @richmond.peoples.assembly:

Are you interested in…

…building relationships and developing social movement infrastructure?

…learning about new topics and skills?

…building collective power?

…remembering those who have paved the way in our movements?

Join us, along with other cities around the country, for Festivals of Resistance the weekend of January 18. On the wave of the next Trump presidency, we must find one another, learn together, and take action towards the world we want to build.

In Richmond, we will hold the People’s Assembly, which seeks to make connections with our neighbors, create and fortify our networks, and share the skills that will help us meet the challenges that lie ahead AND build alternative futures.

Are you part of a group or organization already doing these things?

We are seeking folks for tabling and/or to be part of a directory we will provide for free at the event. If you are interested in either of these please fill out this form.
Have an idea for a workshop?

We are seeking proposals for 20 OR 50 minute workshops.

You can submit proposals for workshops by filling out this same form!

Deadline for workshop proposals is January 10th.

12:30pm – Assembly
1:30-2:15 – Lunch/Break – Food is provided and is from Africanne on Main and Roots
