Keywords Palestine @ Studio Two Three

Sat Apr 6 10:00AM

This event is a combination of teach-in and print workshop. We will begin with a discussion around a series of terms, now common at palestinian solidarity protests such as: “from the River to the Sea,” “genocide,” “apartheid,” “zionism” and “anti-zionism,” “intifada,” “watermelon,” and others. This will be run by Faedah Totah and Noah Simblist. After this discussion we will transition into breakout workshops to make posters, signs, and poems, facilitated by Cara Benedetto, Jamie Mahoney, and Rosa Castellano.

In addition to learning and making, a goal of this workshop is coalition building between various groups in the Richmond area that are engaged with Palestinian solidarity work.

Participants bring t-shirts, totes and paper to print on. Donations are welcome and can be brought to the event.

Poster above designed by Nicole Killian.
