Victims identified in yesterday’s shootings

The Richmond Police Department has identified Richmond Police detectives have the victim of the homicide that occurred early Thursday morning on Midlothian Turnpike as Anthony Bagby, 60, of Henrico, and have identified the victim of the homicide that occurred yesterday afternoon on Overlook Street as Spen’Shawn Battle, 26, of Richmond.

These are the 3rd and 4th homicides in South Richmond this year. Last year at this time there had been 17 killings.
