Residents given one days notice of permanent road closure

Residents in the Oak Grove area received a letter on Wednesday, December 4th, about the permanent road closure of part of Ingram Avenue starting on Thursday, December 5th. After an immediate WTF from the community, the closure has been postponed until Tuesday to allow time to better inform local residents.

This is part of the 2-year-long project to reconfigure the Hopkins Road/Harwood Street intersection on Richmond Highway that kicked off in late October.
